Welcome and thank you for visiting our site. Heads Up is a locally based Pittsburgh area band featuring some of the best players in Pittsburgh. The band provides crowd-pleasing performances at every show, and plays a wide variety of rock music that is "fan-freindly" from the 70's, 80's, 90's and current hits. When people ask us, "What kind of music do you play?" We like to say "New and Used Rock" ... featuring song selections of tunes that are well known and fun for all to enjoy. Well, hello 2012! friends and fans! ...
We are currently rehersing and gearing up for our 6th year! ... want are changing up the song pic's, adding some new stuff and shelving some others for a while (unless it's one of your favorites! then request it anytime, we will play it) ...
We are going to come out of the gates running this year ... we took a little longer winter break then the previous years, and we are using the extra time to plan, prepare, and stage a great new show for everyone.
We also are considering some "New" Club's and venues, and scheduling for 2012, so keep checking the Show Schedule tab above for updates. As of now, in Celebration of our Irish heritage, we are opening 2012 at Rodneys on Saint Patricks Day, Saturday March 17th! ... Need we say anymore, about the fun and craziness that is going to be happening! ... Kilts are Welcomed! ... and, we will be posting our Saint Patricks Day Set-List's prior for everyone to check out! Get ready Lads and Laddies!
